Founded by Don and Sherri Schomaker, the restaurant was created as a welcoming place where every meal feels like home. Named after Don’s father, Eddie, it reflects the couple’s commitment to faith, family traditions, and community. 

With a menu inspired by loved ones, Eddie’s pays tribute to the Schomaker’s children, grandchildren, and family ties. Guided by their faith, they have fostered a warm environment that nurtures meaningful connections and celebrates the blessings of good food. 

What began as a single location has blossomed into something extraordinary. A second location opened in Highland in March 2024, following the Mascoutah and Williamsville locations newly opened in 2025. At Eddie’s Rise-n-Dine, every dish honors tradition, families and the guiding principles of togetherness.
